Move In Phase 1 Complete, thanks to some Really Great Friends!

The move was scheduled for Saturday morning but we woke up to thunderstorms, and a tornado watch had been issued for the day, so needless to say we rescheduled.  The move was going to be bad enough and we certainly didn’t want to traipse around in the mud and rain.  We had one full and one partial storage unit to move and on the surface it didn’t seem like it would take that long.  We had estimated about four hours.  The worst part we had thought would be the need to carry so many things around the outside of the house into the basement door since they wouldn’t make the turn down the stairs.  Thanks to our very good friends Bill and Bryan, we are now completely moved out of our storage units.  I felt a bit like I inadvertently did a bait and switch because instead of four hours it took ten and bless their hearts they hung in there like a hair in a biscuit.  We honestly didn’t think moving that little bit of stuff would take so long.  And to think this is only the precursor to the main move.  I promise Bill and Bryan we will not ask for your help then…Thank heaven for good friends!  We do owe you both a big favor in return and feel free to call it in!!
