Sinks and Sectionals…

14 Feb

I need your help again in making a decision.  Today it’s the kitchen sink and a sofa for the basement bar entertainment area.  I wasn’t really a fan of the sectional sofa, remembering them years ago and thinking yuck, no way.  However when I think about it, it really is a good solution for this casual entertaining space.  I want the bar entertainment area to be comfortable, casual; I don’t want people to be afraid to sit down on something and mess it up.  The sectional provides a lot of seating so I’m thinking maybe.  I have a regular sofa pictured too so I’m still not 100% on the sectional but I am leaning that way.  The other big choice, brown leather to give it a warm, club room feel or red to give it a lively punch of color or a neutral!  The kitchen is going to be a Tuscan style so my splurge here is the sink.  I have been admiring the copper sink since we remodeled our existing kitchen 3 years ago but I didn’t do it.  I think I am this time around.  The choices here are a smooth front or a carved front.  I like both a lot and am not sure which to choose.  Let me know what you think!

I love the brown leather sectional!

I think the leather sectional is a better choice. The red and beige couches look like the back cushions are detached pillows. I’ll never buy a couch with that kind of style back cushions ever again because after a while it loses it shape.

I like the carved front sink. It will be another thing that draws your eye in your kitchen.

    Love the site!
